What does it mean to be green?  Why is there so much buzz about sustainability?  How is UW-Madison responding to the green movement?

Find the answers to these questions and more this Thursday at the Student Personnel Association’s (SPA) noon time forum.

Thomas Eggert Associate Director and advisor for The Center for Business, Environment & Social Responsibility at UW-Madison will be SPA’s featured forum speaker.  Thomas will provide background information on the green movement, the development of classes and a graduate certificate program in sustainability, as well as work with the Nelson Institute to develop a portal for people interested in the various aspects of sustainability.  He'll talk both about student interest in the topic and evolving business interest.  We hope you can join us to learn more about this new exciting field.  Everyone is welcome to attend!  Please share this announcement with anyone you think would be interested in this topic – thanks!  For more information on this event contact SPA Forums Chair, Katia Albright at kalbright@dcs.wisc.edu.  For more information on SPA, please check out our website at http://www.uw-spa.org/mission.htm.
